A new residential complex on a pivotal location

The Kuebebierg project is the new strategic development of the Fonds du Kirchberg and is part of the metropolitan ambition to develop a truly mixed-use urban district that respects its natural environment. It will be developed into several phases, each complete and autonomous in terms of amenities.

During the first phase, Pointe Est, a new sustainable mixed-use complex of some 25 000 m2, will be built.

Pointe Est is located in a unique and prominent position at the entrance to the district, where the future Avenue du Kuebebierg and Boulevard Frieden meet. The future Michel Lucius Lyceum and a new tram stop are located in the same area, creating together an attractive center for the neighborhood.

In addition, the plot is located at the end (or rather origin) of the Märtesgrond valley and its protected woodlands, reinforcing its relationship with natural values. Our ambition is to prolong this valley , straight into the building complex and create a lush, generous green oasis right in its core.

Three towers on a plinth

Pointe Est will become one of the pilot projects of Kuebebierg, as it will allow the first inhabitants to settle and bring life to the area. It consists of three triangular towers of different heights on a common plinth, and houses a mixed-use program.

The project will accommodate 150 apartments in the towers, several artisan spaces on the plinth along the street, the energy plant for the urban heat-network in the heart of the basement, the green courtyard on its roof and centralized bicycle parking for the future inhabitants.

Great attention has also been paid to sustainability: a double sun orientation of each flat has been favored, each apartments is provided with an outdoor space, the use of solar panels increases its energy self-sufficiency and the façade construction will be wood-based.

With its programmatic intensity, Pointe Est will become a vital, healthy and lively place for all the citizens of Kuebebierg.
